Aloha, I’m Hope and my path seems to bee one that is called towards supporting the growth and natural thriving of honeybee colonies. Sharing their, wisdom, medicine and abundance with the world.
Honey Bee Sensual came into being through divine guidance. After traveling the world for 5 years Hope attended a workshop where she received clear messages to move to Hawaii and care for the bees. Previously she had never been to Hawaii and she had never tended to bees. Once she arrived to the island she spent her time learning from local holistic beekeepers. Hope not only learned how to keep bees in a “pono” way, she also learned about all the terrible ways that bees are being treated in commercial beekeeping. From this awareness, Honey Bee Sensual was created.
At Honey Bee Sensual we do our best to keep the bees in an environment that is aligned with their natural ways of being. We use no medicines on the bees, no chemicals, no clipping of the queens wings, no artificially inseminated queen bees, and we do not feed our bees sugar water or anything. These are often things that are practiced in commercial beekeeping, which creates a really toxic environment for the bees. We keep the bees in wooden boxes and tend to them with little to no protection, often topless or even naked. The reason for this is because we believe the bees can feel our energy more clearly, which allows for a more easeful cooperative interaction with the bees.
The bees are magical giving creatures, and they love to share their abundance. When going into the hive we go in with the intention to create space so that the hive can continue to grow and expand. We only take what is abundantly available in the hive, never taking all of what they have. They give their gifts of honey and wax, often without a single sting. We then take the honey, squeeze it by hand, and filter through a non metal screen. The honey never touching metal from hive to your home. Then the wax from the honey is melted down to create candles and other things.
This business was created to share the gifts from the bees with the world. To bring nature, bees, and playful curiosity to the bedroom. We are learning from and alongside the bees all the time. Excited to share these gifts of love and sensuality with you, and to continue expanding in this feminine mystery of the beehive.
