Hawaiian Lunar Calendar

$40.00

This project is inspired by the honey bees, their connection to the cycles of life, and the natural beauty of the feminine form in honey. Each day is represented by the shape of the honey comb. The honey dripped throughout the calendar, represents the daily tide predictions in Kona Hawai’i. Along with the tides, each day also shows the phases of the waxing and waning moon. The Zodiac signs for both the moon and the sun are given; and, the “moonths” are named after the new moon that each page begins on. Every turn of this calendar displays a photo of a beautiful, natural, nude woman covered in Honey. Proceeds will be going towards supporting local beekeepers and those who support the honey bees in thriving in ethical, natural, and sustainable ways.
